The Spincast process consists of the casting and tapping of metals of low melting point, by means of centrifugation in patterns of organic and silicone components.
This is a process of very recent technology and because of this, it is in permanent development and research.
The metals more commonly used in this process are: tin, lead, zamac, pewter, britania, etc., depending on the piece to be manufactured, because of its complexity, finish, use and determining factor or the cost in every case.
The production is completed depending on the product, by means of mechanic finish operations, galvanostegia or painting with sinthetic enamels, acrylics or baked epoxys.
In some products the finishes are made with epoxy cristal lac.
The painting is made by means of a pneumatic system of calibrated application in the plain pieces, and by hand with brushes in the volumen pieces. In other products the aerograph technique is used. |
